Flutcher Thomas Scholarship Fund
The Flutcher Thomas Scholarship fund with contributions from members of the church to support post-secondary educational opportunities for current members. The scholarship may be awarded to deserving graduating high school seniors of Little Flock Baptist Church in Forney, Texas.

Scholarships will be applied to the cost of undergraduate tuition, fees, room, board and other college expenses.

EDUCATION CONNECTION, presented to the church leaders and approved by Pastor Laurent, has been established to help fund the LFBC Flutcher Thomas Scholarship and to support the Children/Youth Ministry under the leadership of Sister Diannah Dupay and Sister Kara Frazier. The primary goal of EDUCATION CONNECTION is to raise money for the scholarship fund. Each LFBC graduating high school senior is awarded a $500 scholarship upon graduating. As a church, we need to raise a money in order to honor these students. EDUCATION CONNECTION is urging all LFBC members & friends ages 21 and older to sign the pledge sheet pledging $5 monthly a month or $60 annually. Raising these funds will help relieve our general church treasury. Any additional monies raised will be used to financially support Sister Dupay and staff with the Children/Youth Ministry as well as to establish a foundation for the continuing growth of the scholarship fund. All eligible LFBC members & friends are encouraged to participate in this ongoing endeavor. A receipt will gladly be given upon your request.
Tentative use of EDUCATION CONNECTION funds:

  • Flutcher Thomas Scholarship
  • 6 wk perfect attendance for students grades K – 12 ($5 gift card)
  • 6 wk “A” Honor Roll for students grades 1 – 12 ($ to be determined)
  • 6 wk “A/B” Honor Roll for students grades 1 – 12 ($ to be determined)
  • 6 wk ALL CHECKS / Smiley Faces / M-Mastered / etc. KINDERGARTEN ($ to be determined)
  • SNACKS
  • CELEBRATIONS
